Spent all of Thursday and Friday sewing. Was going slightly mad, but in acts of daring do, I was rescued by many instances of good company. Quite honestly, I am so, so impressed I didn't have a nervous breakdown this week. The potential was looming enormously, like some tremendous threatening hot air balloon of doom.
Friday night at 1am my baby brother and his girl Megan roll up, and since then Forum has been a happily lost cause. Took them on the whirlwind New York adventure, included but not limited to Times Square, balcony tickets to The Producers (sweet!), Chinatown, 34th street shopping mecca, St. Marks place, and some time where the wild things are. An immensely satisfying, delicious day. I should maybe write more about its various elements, especially the show, but I'm going to save that for a time when I don't have 3 hours of sewing ahead of me.
Five costumes left before rehearsal tomorrow. Mark, set, go.
